Dan Adkins Consulted for News Story On Age of Consent in Minnesota

Managing partner, Dan Adkins, was recently interviewed by a local news station about Minnesota’s Age of Consent in relation to an interesting incident involving a local hockey coach. Long story short, the coach was caught up in a sting operation operated by a local vigilante group that attempts to catch sexual predators by posting ads for certain misbehavior. In this particular case, the group posted an ad involving a 16-year-old, to which the coach responded. No charges are currently pending against the coach because 16 is age of consent and there was no exchange of money for the acts. Mr. Adkins was quoted about what type of criminal misconduct could be in play – or in this case, how none is implicated.
